Search for Common Ground will be honoring Karen Armstrong and the Charter of Compassion at the Common Ground awards.
A precious collection of sacred relics of the Buddha and many other Buddhist masters is currently touring the world. We are fortunate that one of their stops is at our center here in Medford.
We want to celebrate unveiling of The Charter for Compassion which is the result of Karen Armstrong’s 2008 TED Prize wish and made possible by the generous support of the Fetzer Institute. It will be unveiled to the world on November 12, 2009.
Celebrate the release of the charter for compassion by running a little workshop ourselves on compassion.
Those interested in Philosophy, human sciences, etc please join in, and make this a contributive effort.
